Ultimately, said Menos — who previously led Philadelphia’s Police Advisory Commission — it was an “outlier event” and not a sign of things to come.
“We need to see, in Philadelphia and around the country, police officers standing up to things that aren’t recorded [for] nine minutes and don’t lead to national outrage, just standing up for what’s right, because they’re the one witness … and they can make a real difference.
