U.N. experts allege systemic racism and rights abuses in U.S. prisons

The United Nations Human Rights Council launched an investigation into the American prison system in 2021 at the peak of international protests around the murder of George Floyd. The findings were published recently and revealed substantial evidence of systemic racism and human rights abuses. The Washington Post published an article on the report and mentioned CPE co-founder and President Dr. Tracie Keesee as one of the experts involved in the analysis.
