Today, Center for Policing Equity President and Co-founder Dr. Phillip Atiba Goff released the following statement about the shooting of two St. Louis County Police officers in the line of duty last night:
"The attempted murder of two Ferguson police officers last night harms the ability of the Ferguson community to heal and remain safe. In fact, acts like this, the one in New York, and others that happen nationwide, only make it harder for communities and police to protect the peace."
