Violence in a community, no matter who it is directed to, is devastating, traumatic, and a tragedy. No one should fear for their life when they show up for work. While the national media might not cover every shooting that occurs, these communities feel each violent incident that happens.

At the Center for Policing Equity, we are committed to redesigning public safety so that communities are safer for everyone, from the most vulnerable communities to those who serve in law enforcement, and we will continue to work tirelessly with community activists, reform-minded law enforcement leaders, and elected officials to find new ways of keep all communities safe, equitable, and thriving.
