Vanessa Kranwinkel joined the Center for Policing Equity in the summer of 2022 as the Senior Project Manager for Fundraising.

Prior to joining CPE, Vanessa was a Development Manager at PowerMyLearning where she managed the organization’s individual and major giving, fundraising events, and played a key role in streamlining gift tracking systems. In 2020, she successfully led the organization’s first virtual gala, setting a precedent for the future of the fundraising team’s event strategy. Previously, she spent some time working at a national charter school focusing on recruitment and retention. She is also a Teach For America 2015 Corp Member, with experience teaching elementary grades in the South Bronx.

Vanessa holds a Master's degree in Education from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Philosophy with a concentration in Women and Gender Studies from the College of the Holy Cross.
