Tralonda Triplett, PhD, MPH

Dr. Tralonda Triplett is the Director of Public Health at the Center for Policing Equity (CPE). She leads CPE’s efforts to promote comprehensive wellness by integrating population health promotion and health equity into CPE’s mission for policing and public safety reform and social justice.

“Heal the people, heal the world” is Dr. Triplett’s signature approach to addressing individual, sociocultural, and environmental health risks simultaneously and serves as a strong foundation to promoting lifelong wellness for all populations. Her impassioned advocacy for collaboration from multiple sectors mobilizes communities toward comprehensive health and positive qualities of life for all.

Dr. Triplett completed undergraduate degrees in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University, and in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. She is honored as a University of Michigan Bridges to the Doctorate Fellow, a McKnight Doctoral Fellow, and a Distinguished Alumna of the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, where she earned her Master of Public Health and Doctorate of Epidemiology with Specialty in Public Health Ethics. Her systemic insights blend scientific foundations with community-centered and data-driven approaches to innovate and sustain essential changes to address inequities and disparities in health status and outcomes.
