Lillian Hua is a Research Coordinator across the Triage Response Team and Science team, and conducts quantitative and qualitative research on client-facing projects. She is particularly interested in alternative approaches to the carceral justice system, and in exploring how data and research can support their continued expansion alongside local organizations and communities.

Lillian holds a B.A. in Economics and Ethnicity, Race, & Migration from Yale College. Many of her prior academic and professional experiences have revolved around racial justice, political economy, and Asian American community and history. She owes much of her learning and growth to community, movement ancestors, friends, and family.
