Juanisha Byrd is the Partnerships Manager for the Triage response Team. Juanisha joined the Center for Policing Equity in May 2021 and served as the COMPSTAT for Justice, Public Health Implementation Specialist. In her role, Juanisha developed the public health implementation strategy and provided statistical analyses to law enforcement agencies in support of their efforts to reduce racial disparities in policing outcomes. 

Prior to joining CPE, Juanisha worked in communicable disease prevention specializing in linkage to care and harm reduction. Juanisha has dedicated her public health career to improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations and increasing access to health care services through education and advocacy. Juanisha has a BS in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and an MPH from Benedictine University.
