Dexter L. Mines Sr.

Dexter L. Mines Sr. served as a Law Enforcement Officer for over twenty years, who retired as an Assistant Director of the Tennessee Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T) Commission and a Law Enforcement Training Instructor (LETI) for the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA). He has also served as a SWAT team member, a school resource officer, and a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE).

Dexter retired from the U.S. Army after serving more than twenty four years working in three different specialties; a career counselor, a personnel supervisor, and a communication specialist. He also worked undercover drug while serving on a special assignment with the Criminal Investigation Command (CID).

Dexter holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Bethel University in McKenzie, TN graduating Summa Cum Laude with a GPA of 4.0.
