Daniela Philipson García

Dani serves as a C4J Data Analyst at CPE, where she leverages quantitative and qualitative tools to identify racial bias and reduce burdensome practices in policing. Dani previously served as a Policy Analyst at the Office of the Inspector General for NYPD, specializing in the intersections between police oversight, public health, surveillance technologies, and gender-based violence. 

Dani also has experience advising governments, academia, and feminist organizations. She was a Security Policy Advisor to the Speaker of the Senate of Mexico, a Research Assistant at Evidence for Policy Design, and a Women, Peace and Security Fellow at the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. 

Dani is a Fulbright-García Robles Scholar and a Women in International Security 2021 Next Generation Fellow. She holds a Master's in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and two Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and International Relation from ITAM in Mexico City.
