Alisa Jimenéz

Alisa Jimenéz is the Project Manager for Product Discovery at the Center for Policing Equity, primarily supporting the R&D team.

Prior to joining CPE, Alisa was a Program Officer at NYU's Center on International Cooperation, working on the Justice team of the Pathfinders for Peaceful Just & Inclusive Societies. There, she played a leading role in the publication, disbursement and advocacy of a ministerial lead Task Force on Justice's report, Justice For All, focused on United Nations goals. She successfully led partnerships aimed at increasing actionable policy and led and launched the inaugural Young Justice Leaders. Previously she was at the International Rescue Committee’s (IRC) Airbel Center as a Research & Development fellow. Alisa has also spent time with the United Nations Development Programme in Kosovo, providing research, briefs, and analysis on national and international small arms legislation and violent extremism. Previously, she worked at a national charter school and an international law firm, focusing on recruitment and diversity initiatives.

Alisa holds a Master's degree in international affairs with a specialization in conflict and security from the New School Graduate Program in International Affairs. She also holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in international relations and anthropology from the University of Rochester.
