Eugene Ebron

Eugene Ebron joined the Center for Policing Equity in the fall of 2019 after a decade of work in Chicago with K-12 education. He primarily focused his work with school networks that served students of color from historically marginalized neighborhoods. Eugene led operations and developed and implemented frameworks that assisted schools in the turnaround process. His work with these schools helped transform educational outcomes, and significantly closed the historic racial and socio-economic achievement gaps for students of color.

Prior to his work in education reform, Eugene spent time in D.C. with an advisory and advocacy communications firm conducting qualitative and quantitative research focused on corporate reputation and stakeholder engagement. Eugene earned his B.A. in business from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a M.Ed. in policy studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
