Ural Mishra

Ural Mishra is a Community Engagement Assistant at the Center for Policing Equity (CPE) since 2020. Prior to joining CPE, Ural was involved in transitional justice work in Nepal, with a particular focus on advocacy for minorities and women who faced violence during the Nepali Civil War.

Ural has experience organizing social justice workshops for young people and engaging them in conversations about equity and justice. In 2018, he conducted research both on security issues in the South China Sea and nuclear proliferation in North Korea.

Ural holds a BA in Government and Legal Studies with a minor in History from Bowdoin College, where he primarily studied issues related to human rights and inequity.
