Damon McCullough

Applying over a decade of engineering experience, Damon Kamali McCullough develops the software tools underlying the exploration and transformation of law enforcement data at the Center for Policing Equity (CPE). Damon guides the Data Driven Interventions team's efforts to increase the utility of an expanding code base.

The technical challenges of building and refining a data pipeline meant to produce actionable analysis require thoughtful and strategic planning. He cherishes these opportunities to collect, communicate, and codify CPE's collective wisdom.

Realizing equitable public safety and illuminating behaviors rooted in White supremacy drives his passion for creating, testing, and refining production software, databases, and processes that are instrumental to CPE's ongoing and expanding work. He also enjoys dog training, record collecting, and physics.
