Marietta Carre

Prior to joining CPE Marietta was an Associate Program Executive at the Atlantic Philanthropies. She worked within the Reconciliation and Human Rights program where she managed the Criminal Justice Reform and Immigrant Rights portfolios. She led Atlantic’s work in funding Prop 47 in California to bring about sentencing reform, and partnered with the Fair and Just Policing Campaign to end discriminatory policing in NYC, and the national campaign to abolish the death penalty.

Before Atlantic Philanthropies, Marietta worked at Community Resource Exchange, a nonprofit consulting firm in NYC that works with local organization to fight poverty and promote equity.

Marietta has a Masters in Public Administration from NYU and a Bachelors in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University.
